Beyond trophies, buckles, points, and prizes, youth members develop strong Christian values, as well as leadership and organizational skills. With nearly two decades of experience, CYRA hosts several rodeos each year and youth members have the opportunity to compete across the state of Kansas. The CYRA membership fee for the 2023 season is $70.00. If paid prior to the first rodeo of the season, membership fees are $60.00. A family of three members or more is $70.00 for the first two members and then 1⁄2 price for each additional member (sibling groups only).
Members' age is based on age on or before January 1st of the current rodeo year. All members are required to provide a copy of their birth certificate.
Click on the Membership link below and complete the online form. Once we receive the form, we will set you up as a new member in the Rodeo Management System and send you an email with your log in information.
Starting with the 2023 season, ALL membership paperwork is being handled online.
Once you are set up in the new system, you will be responsible for completing ALL information on your members profile. The Membership paperwork will be sent to you via DocuSign to complete. Once completed, a copy of the signed package will be uploaded to your member profile.
In addition to the above package, a copy of the members birth certificate and proof of enrollment for those in grades 9-12 must be uploaded to the members profile.
Points will NOT be accumulated until membership fees have been paid and ALL membership paperwork has been completed and uploaded!!!

Sponsorships and Raffle Tickets
Each CYRA member is required to bring in a combined total of $250 in sponsorships and/or raffle ticket sales. All monies raised are used to help purchase year-end awards, fund scholarships, and cover ministry expenses.

Scholarships
CYRA founder George Steinberger was always proud of the organization’s youth as they graduated from high school and moved into their young-adult lives. He encouraged each graduate to continue their education in college or technical training. CYRA seniors write a brief essay regarding their future plans to qualify for consideration of general education scholarships. The board reviews all applications and announces scholarship winners at the annual awards ceremony.
In addition, members of all ages can apply for tuition assistance through the George Steinberger Memorial Camp Scholarship. This scholarship is available for rodeo bible camp or any other approved rodeo clinic that has the same focus of helping kids grow in and out of the arena. All applications are subject to board approval.
CYRA scholarships support the organization’s youth members and build on their foundation of Christian principles.
